Your bag should be packed from around 34 weeks.
Must haves :
At least 3 sets of pyjamas/ sleep shirt, long or short depending on the weather where you are. Button down helps alot if you are breast feeding
Gowns at least 3 for walking out of the ward
Slippers are much easier for getting in and out of bed
Your personal toiletries - lotion , bodywash, anti -perspirant, toothbrush and paste, body scrubber, face creams, shampoo, hairbrush
Socks, Underwear - pack feeding bras- You can get from most popular chain stores. I used the Woolworths brand, it was the most comfortable for me and long lasting
Breast pads- disposable or non- disposable, Clicks , Dischem, Babies r Us stock both types. I used the disposable ones , Clicks brand.
Sanitary towels or maternity panties- the Carriwell range was what I used, Dischem or Clicks stock it, At least 10, It helps with the bleeding post delivery, called lochia
Towels and face towels
Your phone and charger, adapter will also help, Earphones as well
Vitamins that you take, its important to continue as it does give you energy
Snacks that you enjoy
If you are breastfeeding then your jungle juice or a water bottle
Lock for your small cupboard when you are not in the room
Waterless sanitiser
I hope this list helps, If I remember anything else I will add it...
